Disabled and lean 😎

"Maybellene" - Chuck Berry

Isn't that what Chuck Berry said? Minus the able part, disabled and lean. That would be true unlike Maybellene. Optimizing what you can do, you can be physically strong and unable. What you think might make you ripped can cause the opposite, and that's why it's best to learn how to listen to your body.

"Motivatin' over the hill" might not be the best plan, so adapt! Don't adapt by rolling down that hill either. Take a lift to the top and make up for it when you get there! If the "Ford (you) got hot and wouldn't do no more" that is likely a sign not to push through it. When "the motor cooled down, the heat went down" that's the time. If you're the "Cadillac lookin' like it's sittin' still" do what you can while you're sitting. If overexertion is what it looked like before for you, don't start "doin' them things you used to do"!

I think that song is about a girl he can't trust, but I guess it can also be used for metaphors about adaptive workouts? There probably is a Maybellene that can help you with functional workouts though. Find her instead.

Maybellene can't be true but you can?
