"There's a big storm coming I can feel it in my knees", very relatable.
I won free tickets to this show so that was amazing! I saw Del Barber awhile ago, so I knew I wanted to see him again. Winning tickets let me know that it was meant to be I guess! It was just one of those nights that I was so entranced that I forgot to take a good photo for my silly little blog, so I guess we'll just have to deal with a blurry screen cap. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Del and his band sure know how to captivate an audience for the evening. As Del is equally a fantastic storyteller and musician. Hearing songs like "Still Got You" again was beautiful, while he of course kept things bumping with tunes like "Ronnie and Rose". Both favourites of mine. I seem to remember him and his band doing a fantastic rendition of "Dang Me" by Roger Miller at the last show, so I guess I dropped the ball and should've made that request vocal. Nonetheless, free tickets and a great evening of tunes, how could I complain about that?
Sad to know that this is a "Farewell" tour for Del Barber. But life happens!
