GET BACK!

If "Bad Religion" or "Keep Away" by Godsmack aren't in your gym playlist, you haven't unlocked your full potential yet. "Moon Baby" is pretty good for that too but pretty sure that open stringed guitar riff in Bad religion is a natural way to promote testosterone. It's hard not to sing along to "Voodoo" and even though it's one of the "softer" tunes on the album it still somehow manages to be one of the heaviest feeling. Obviously the coloured discs are cool as hell and was worth the $30 i paid for it from the FB marketplace. The rest of this little blog post will basically be me ranting on about when i saw Godsmack with Volbeat at the Grey Eagle Event Centre in Calgary a couple years ago because holy shit. To be honest, I knew Volbeat a lot better going in to that concert, and was mostly a more "mainstream" Godsmack fan and holy shit. Godsmack definitely delivers the sound that I like more than Volbeat and by no means did Volbeat dissapoint. Everyone in the bathroom lineup was wondering how Godsmack was going to follow them up, and it was by blowing the fucking roof off the place. With Shannon Larkin delivering what will probably be the tighest drumming performance that you'll be graced with the chance to see and Sully and the boy's performance being nothing short of god-like. Also, pretty sure those dudes just tour around with their motorcycles on-hand and pull up to the venue on them sometimes? Like what a bunch of badasses, go listen to this now to put some hairs on your chest. *still waiting on mine though :(*
