I Miss You When You're Gone

it's hard to carry on. Many, many nights has Dolores O'Riordan sung me to sleep, Especially with The Cranberries NPR Tiny Desk Concert. I've probably watched the 20-odd minute long YouTube video close to 100 times. For awhile it was always my go-to listen when I couldn't sleep and woke up feeling anxious, though that happens less I still return often to pay my respects. It hurts to hear such a lovely and angelic voice knowing that it's now gone. Which brings me to my favourite track featured on the compilation album "when you're gone". I must've missed this one when listening to The Cranberries before because it's the only thing I could hear in my head for months afterwards. While it also includes more popular tracks like Dreams, Zombie, Salvation, Ode to my Family etc... I knew it would be hard to go wrong with picking this compilation album up as it includes a little bit of everything. To hear Dolores' voice on vinyl was certainly worth the Mac Demarco vinyl I traded it for at Sacks Thrift Ave in Red Deer lol.
