I don't say "again" in any way to discredit their return, because I always look forward to it. They're becoming the band that I've seen the most if they aren't already and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

While Scenic Route To Alaska could just be the nicest dudes I'll ever get the chance to meet, their performance always provides equally marvelous vibes. The show started a little late to let the Oilers game finish and I don't think there was a complaint from anybody. GO OILERS! Having a Canadian team in the finals is equally exciting as this show was. The boys were touring the release of their new album Lasts Forever and it was completely magical to get to hear tunes like "Call It A Coincidence" and "Lasts Forever" live. Two songs that are completely polar opposite of each other, the slower "call it a coincidence" tugs at your heartstrings ever so gently. "Street lights always burn out when I'm walking underneath, maybe that's just your funny way of saying hi to me" except that line gives your heartstrings a sturdier, more forceful tug. Maybe gently isn't the best description. But "Lasts Forever" is a more upbeat and fun tune designed to become a catchy little worm of good vibes in your brain. Also to the crowd's great benefit they played a catalog of their old hits and gems like "Long Walk Home", "Love Keeps", "Again, Again", "Slow Down", "Coming Back", "How It Feels" and the lesser heard "Paris". HopefulIy next time they'll play "Taking Its Toll" just for me?? :) I really hope that Scenic Route keeps coming back to Bo's, in fact "I hope it lasts forever." HA SEE WHAT I DID THERE!

This night was definitely worth the pricey cab ride home after a tow truck had to take away the chariot ride to the show in the Dodge Journey.
