"Who's got it?" IllScarlett does
If I said they've got something special instead of "nothing special", you'd know what I was going for right?
Pretty sure this was the first time I'd ever seen a bit of ska live, so I'm glad we got that out of the way. I've definitely been on a bit of A Canadian media kick lately too, so it was great to see this band and expand my horizons. In A memory-filled-ska-punk kind of way. Also, this show was on Friday the 13th, so not getting massacred by a guy wearing a hockey mask wielding a machete was pretty cool. Though, I was massacred by the little bit of "Blind" by Korn that they played. The crowd appreciated the guttural roar and riff as we were offered the most raw sound possible. If you thought they didn't already have a great sense of variety in their own stuff, the additions of sounds from Green Day to House of Pain will definitely do the trick. Everybody made sure to "Jump Around".
(Except me)
Bo's never disappoints
