Inkfist

Ink on any body part, it just fits the song title... DUH
"Stinkfist" - TOOL
Much like a physical copy of moosic, a tattoo tells a story. You know exactly where you bought that CD, and you know exactly where you went to get that tattoo. You know when you got that record and you know how old you were when you got that tattoo. See what I'm going for here? It's like a permanent time stamp.
What is the musical equivalence of one of those temporary tattoos that you put on with a wet cloth when you were a kid?
You could probably find a bunch of old records there, but I don't think you should get a tattoo at a garage sale though. I wouldn't recommend getting one at a thrift store either. Or ordering one online. (that isn't possible) SUPPORT LOCAL?
When I think about it though, both involve a needle. One kind digs into your skin and the other digs in to some vinyl. Hopefully not too deep though, would one of those Crosley briefcase record players that is supposedly wound too tight and could damage records the equivalent of a non-reputable tattoo artist? Your buddy in his basement? Would the vinyl record equivalent of a stick and poke be a 45? It's quickly over with.
WOW! And just like the longevity of coloured ink, coloured vinyl doesn't sound as well?
GREAT FINDINGS OF SIMILARITIES AND IDEALOGIES, JACOB!
