Maybe something fitting like "goodbye to the sunshine" how about that?
Wow two blogs in such frequent succession! I'll bet the *fanbase* is just going to love this! Maybe I'll offer some more music suggestions on my shitty little blog that's what everybody wanted today, oh and a bunch of witty satire that'll do the trick.
I guess this counts as the mythical foretold "rainy day blog #2" because it's raining today and that was the inspiration and such. So here's a list of songs that have recently been overplayed by myself and are fitting for a day like today. "In Tall Buildings" by John Hartford has moved quickly to a top spot in my favourite songs ever and helps to say "goodbye to the sunshine, goodbye to the dew, goodbye to the flowers and goodbye to you." Corin Raymond always helps me to fill the void of a gloomy day especially with songs like "Stealin' My Heart", "Three Thousand Miles", "Two Miles of Train", or "There Will Always Be A Small Time". I'm very excited to get to see him perform again in September. "The Master" by Nico Paulo has been on a nonstop repeat lately and hits so well today. She happens to be in a relationship with Tim Baker, who I've recommended many times before and he is accredited also in the writing of this gracious tune. In case you haven't read it in my blogs previously (nobody has), the entirety of Tim Baker's catalogue is highly recommended. Cat Clyde's "All The Black" (Acoustic) has made a constant recurrence lately. It gets a little "cursive" at some points If you know what I mean and that's totally not my thing, but no, I completely love her sound especially on this track. Or most anything that she touches actually. I like to try to recommend artists and songs not heard as much because what sense would it make to recommend top 100 songs, like totally don't listen to "Please, Please, Please" by Sabrina Carpenter, that's not super catchy. It's also impossible not to think of "Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want" by The Smiths when seeing that song title. Eamon McGrath is a lesser heard artist that I greatly recommend especially his songs "Guts", "Cannonball", and "Chlorine" to name a few. "Summer ended in September but it took 20 years to snow", I love that. I saw Eamon play at the Vinyl Garage one year while visiting home and it was phenomenal. I'd love to see him play again. I recently spoke about him with Peter Dreams of July Talk at a recent show! :) That wasn't totally amazing or anything.
See I told you my music taste is very "Polyjamorous". *cringe :|
I think a *few* folks actually view these things after-all, thank you!!!
