Not like a Facebook status

Like a VIP backstage pass at a concert that shows how cool you are?

Popularity certainly doesn't make a musician. (or a fan) Some of the most popular musicians are the most talentless. But musical ability might not fully accredit somebody either. As someone disabled can embody the true spirit of music. An example of how status (or ability) doesn't create a person's value.

Because while popularity can get someone's name out there, it certainly might not build their character. "Letting it go to your head" could have multiple meanings from a cancerous standpoint. But I don't think anyone chooses to let it. Having a surplus of money can bring out someone's true dark colours. I don't mean "Money" by Pink Floyd.

Music should be about music? Have fun of course, but don't spend your money on deteriorating the health of the only body you have. HEALTH IS WEALTH! You can have a bunch of problems till you have a health problem, then you have one. Treat your body well and it will treat you well. And all of those kinds of warnings.

Thinking of status as how good you take care of yourself and treat others.

These kinds of blogs make me sound like a somewhat crotchety old man
