Sometimes it feels like I'm writing topics for school essays or something.

*Shoutout to AI for this generated writing prompt ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Live music brings people together, that's one of the things that's so great about it. Everyone in that crowd can agree on something. They all like that band. I suppose there's always the exception of some people that are forced to be there, or that are just there to get drunk. But you know what I mean. Mostly everyone is there for the same reason. The music itself definitely doesn't discriminate and the crowd probably doesn't either. What a conversation starter, you don't even have to ask what kind of music they like, you know one bit for sure. What a bond that creates.

I know how much that live music or any form of music does for me, and so these post-concert blogs are my way of trying to give back. If I can put somebody on to a new artist or just give praise to one, I consider that a job well done. Hopefully I can help out the local scene, and you've gotta start somewhere.

I buy or check-out from the local library just about any and every book about a musician, by a musician, etc. I do this from pure fascination and to study what it is that makes a musician tick. Of course these books give me ideas for my blogs and help my understanding.

The atmosphere of live music is unmatched and it's a feeling I seek often.
