As random user Albuquerque412 said in a YouTube comment, "Jesus man, now that is a voice that can imprint on someone's emotional memory for decades, incredible talent and gift" I'm sure they'll never see this but as you can see, I only quote the most credible of sources...

A few months ago I had the chance to see The White Buffalo live at Bo's Bar and Stage in Red Deer and it's one of the greatest performances I've seen to date. Jake's voice is so raw and real and was completely captivating the entire night, along with the stage presence and tone presented from the entire group. If you've seen any of his YouTube videos you would tell that his personality and demeanour seems equally as great. If You've watched Sons of Anarchy, (and if you haven't you should) you've heard some songs by The White Buffalo. "Come Join The Murder", "Oh Darlin' What Have I Done", their version of "House Of The Rising Sun" and my personal favourite "The Whistler". They're all songs that made their respective scenes of the show even more memorable. They had a similar memorable effect when I heard them live. The intense solo drum fill followed by "WELL, I CAME TO GET IT ON", drum fill again, "LETS GET IT ONNNNNN", whistling in "The Whistler" is without a doubt one of the most intense musical experiences I've been a part of. Apart from the more popular songs and work featured in Sons Of Anarchy previously mentioned, you'll find there is an entire amazing underrated catalog of greatness to be discovered. "The Woods" is a great one but "Story" is definitely my favourite from his first studio album Hogtied Revisited, It punches you in the gut so right in so many ways and I'm such a slut for a tasty little banjo feature. You'll also hear a great bit of that in "Carnage". Along with "The Whistler'' you'll find "Shall We Go On", "When i'm Gone", "This Year" and "Pray To You Now" to be my highlights from Shadows, Greys & Evil Ways. Which might be my favourite album of his but I feel like I could say that about most of them. For example, I might also say that Once Upon a Time in the West is my favourite album of his. "The Pilot", "One Lone Night", "Wish It Was True" and "I am the Light '' all put up quite the case to be held. "The Observatory '' highlights Darkest Darks, Lightest Lights for me just as "Problem Solution" does for On the Widow's Walk. Fresh, new and equally stimulating sounds are introduced on his newest installation Year of the Dark Horse especially in "Not Today" and the same traditional style and catchiness that you'd expect is available in tunes like "C'mon Come Up Come Out". You'll also find he did a great cover of "Highwayman" by The Highwaymen.

Check out my Instagram reel from the show to see what I'm talking about!
