An ironic line to fit my relationship with this album. Morbid Stuff truly has it all, and I honestly forgot about this album until i came across it for my daily vinyl post on my @jakesmoosic Instagram, and I don't know why. But i'm glad i didn't piss it away. Morbid Stuff is certainly all killer and no filler. Also it's pressed on pink vinyl so that's pretty cool too right? Most of that coloured shit doesn't play as well as the normal black stuff, but this stuff is pressed very well. Its hard not to jam along with the more popular tracks like "Morbid Stuff" and "Kids" or track #8 "Sibling Rivalry" ( which was definitely the best tune on NHL 20 lol.) But its track #3 "Free at Last" and #7 "Bloody Mary, Kate and Ashley" that had an absolute choke hold on me for months after the first time I heard them. JUST CAUSE YOU'RE SAD AGAIN, IT DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE SPECIAL AT ALL. Morbid Stuff is an intense ride as it slows down and softens for songs like "Scorpion Hill" and "Closure. and shortly after picks back up again for a "Full Blown Meltdown". Of course ending with a love-hate humble homage to their home "City" of Toronto in typical PUP fashion.
