While handed a bowl of green peas at the dinner table, give peas a chance
I'm sure they have some vitamins you need.
No vitamins known for this song, but it's kinda like "Peace Frog" - The Doors but peace peas instead.
Moosic can definitely help bring you peace. That's why it pairs so well with a chronic illness. It can flare with you. Like one of those cool tricks on a BMX bike? No, that's a flair. Trying that nowadays might leave you in pieces not in peace. Or a rest in peace. "JuSt A mAsTeRpIeCe TrYiNg To MaStEr PeAcE." Like "Master of Puppets" - Metallica, but master of peas? Not what we're going for.
I know that I've had to work harder for peace than a lot of people. Maybe you have too?
WORK HARD FOR PEAS!
Sleep can also help bring peace. Giving your body the appropriate time to rest type beat. (AN ABUNDANCE APPARENTLY) A lot of times sleep is just a teleportation to morning. Maybe with some un-paid advertisements to wake you up throughout the night. (Dreams, hopefully not funky wunky ones.) For the chronically ill, adequate rest also could be like an hour from now after lunch.
I've learned that peace can be found in the morning air on the back patio, it doesn't have to be on some expensive retreat. (RETREAT FOR PEAS!)
"Keeping the peace" doesn't always create it. Sticking up for yourself does.
This might be the only time I'm talking about John Lennon, and I have a shirt with him on it with a reference to "living on borrowed time". That is a comforting mantra to think of while living with a chronic illness. It brings peace.
"Give Peace a Chance" - John Lennon & Yoko Ono
