"Hard Times" - Tyler Childers
Remember, tough times don't last, tough people do
Falling down is a reason to get up! Whether or not "there was work up in Hindman," you'll make it through. You always do. Working also looks very different for a lot of people. Someone could be literally getting back on their feet. Being down is a reason to get back up. Sometimes you work mentally too.
Speaking of work: "Know anybody dat wants h'eiter ting done?"

"I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues" - Elton John
To paraphrase something from "Room Full of Mirrors: A Biography of Jimi Hendrix", which I read quite a while ago, "you don't just play the blues, you feel them too." People have been pouring their heart and souls into creative outlets since time immemorial.
