HEY BADA BOO BADA BING!
That's not offensive right?
I realized that there was not only a missed opportunity for the inclusion of the commercial featuring "That's Amore" by Dean Martin, but there was a missed opportunity for the inclusion of all Italian themed commercials in general. "Mambo Italiano" another from Dean Martin, how fitting.
I don't know if those commercials even had his originals, but we all heard them yeah?
Imagine thinking of Italy without hearing that. I'm sure you can't summarize an entire country with a song, Nintendo character, food dish or single commercial though? But this is about music commercials.
Whether you're actually at an Italian ristoranté that puts you in the mind of those tunes or home in your living room. Chances are if you hear those songs, you're going to think of those commercials.
Was that commercial banned? (a quick Google search would probably tell you)
I'm sure there's a full blog to write about banned music commercials if I actually did the proper research. But there's also one to write about this? Am I "breaking the third wall?"
There's an abundance of pizza themed commercials that have been engraved into our minds if we think about it. "It's not delivery, it's DiGornio". Or maybe it's Delissio? I guess that's more of a slogan than any music. "Little Caesar's, hot and ready!" Either way, someone from Italy might scoff at the sound of those if we stick to the stereotypes.
Not even a mention of some pasta or anything?

Am I an Italian mob boss?
