Rise and shine? Rise and BRINE!
*Waking up while covered in a salty preserving liquid?*
Let's wake up tired and be half asleep for the day collectively. Maybe you'll describe it as "fatigue". (but there's no fitting song by The Smiths)
"Asleep" - The Smiths
"When I wake up in the morning I'm still asleep, I really don't want no toast"
- Yop Commercial

See there's good kinds of music for relaxing and falling asleep. But there's also some good tunes to wake you up. I know that some people want to be softly woken up and hear wind chimes or something. Not me. How is that supposed to wake you up?
I need the opposite.
"Parabola" by TOOL really kicks your ass into gear. GET OUT OF BED NOW!
That's my go-to wake-up call. But the pound of the beginning kick-drum for "Banjo Odyssey" by The Dead South also does the trick in a less intense way.
"WAKE UP! GRAB A BRUSH AND PUT ON A LITTLE MAKEUP!" - System Of A Down
There are plenty of playlists of music that's good to fall asleep to, but playlists for waking up seem less prominent? I'm sure there are some playlists, but there's also no "Electric Morning Vibrations" from A Tribe Called Quest. There are only less punchy and loud beats to study to. That's what you want to relax with. But it's a different story when you need to get out of bed. You need an auditory cold plunge.
"WAKE ME UP!" - Evanescence
It's good the lyric fits the mood of the song for that song and the System Of A Down tune. It doesn't always.
"Wake me up" - Avicii
"Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" - Wham
I can create my own extremely-short playlist of wake up themed songs.
"Here Comes The Sun" by The Beatles but it needs to be angrier. I think that some songs that offer less good vibes and don't tug on the heartstrings are needed.
Is there a sub-genre for rude awakenings?
