(Also ignore the size differential of the brain to the clouds)

"The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie" - Red Hot Chili Peppers

It seems like the rain messes you up usually, but in the heat of summer, now you're praying for a bit of rain in the forecast. Even though we've been pretty fortunate with that. WHAT IF IT RAINS IN THE MORNING AND IT'S BLISTERING HOT LATER!? CONFUSION?

"The morning rain clouds up my window" - Dido

But "my tea's gone cold"?, not likely!

Yes, the title is in reference to "None But The Rain" by Townes Van Zandt.

"We had our day, but now it's over"

That summer fatigue definitely flares-up as the sun sucks the life out of you. (maybe that would be a good song lyric?) I guess our day was in the cold, even though it was kind of miserable and you wanted it to be over. Take some more naps. But they might not help.

"We had our stroll through summer's clover"

It sucked and you wanted to be asleep.

"But summer's gone now, our walkin's done."

It's actually quite the opposite.

So maybe it will be "the rain that clings to your bosom". Perhaps you don't have "golden hair" but the sunshine will dry it nonetheless.

That song was about a girl obviously, but it works for a relationship with chronic illness as well. Putting a target-audience-esque spin on it and whatnot. Maybe I can help make it more realistic? (Rest easy Townes, your version is perfect)

Or maybe you feel this way because Mercury is in the microwave?

(I don't follow horoscopes)

Fare thee well, 1-5 viewers, goodbye
