It's a book title, not a request.
That is "Please Kill Me" by Gillian McCain and Legs McNeil
This isn't really a review, I haven't read this book in quite awhile. I just realized that it sparked my love for reading about moosic. So I can't recommend it enough. So sorry to disappoint, but you'll have to make up some thoughts of your own. Then maybe write a quick blog about it for nobody else to read. Hey, actually, that's my thing!

I do know that the book offers stories from mostly super reckless hard-tickets, that are mostly unrelatable for me. But those probably make for better stories. Everyone wants to hear about DRUGS, SEX AND ROCK AND ROLL! "Utterly and Shamelessly Sensational" to quote Newsday on the back cover.
It was the first book I read after probably a 10 year reading hiatus. It led to me exploring my love for reading and writing further, which I kind of used to hate. So I guess it did something right! It kind of makes it better when it's a choice and not by force as well. I think I found it at the right time. (When I needed to spend an extra few bucks to get free shipping on a record order) Even if a younger me might've resonated with the punk rock music tales a little more. An "Uncensored Oral History of Punk" seems like a good place to start for an "informal" kind of guy. You'll find the stories and many personal accounts by the punks who were on the scene themselves in those days.
So in case you ever read this Gillain McCain and Legs McNeil, thank you!
Similar stories are told in "The Original Ramones" episode of Alan Cross's "Ongoing History Of New Music" podcast. Which was a good refresher and A much more Ramones specific, shorter commitment. The podcast is a great form of Canadian music media that I'll have to get further into soon!
I can recommend books about music all day long. I think I've kinda done that before. Maybe I'll recommend more, another thing you can't hold me to.
WRITING AND READING. A SEASON OF EXPLORING MY PASSIONS FURTHER!?
