Definitely watch The Beaches new NPR Tiny Desk video. It's as amazing as you might expect, watch it while out one night (or from your cozy bed) and then you can be "the last girl at the party." (that was low-hanging fruit) I hope that me telling you about them isn't your first bit of exposure to them, but what a GREAT Canadian band.

Since I'm talking about GREAT Canadian bands, is July Talk up to something? As you might've noticed, the repost of their Push + Pull video (might be my favourite song of theirs) was a bit SUS and then they claimed to be "plotting" in their next post. Just like their story said I should, I DM'd them "WHAT" to be the one of the first to know, how fun. But such a TEASE. I got their contact card. I'm friends with July Talk now? Maybe there'll be an answer to the suspicion by the time this post comes out?
