You heard a good jingle 20 years ago?
Aside from the "North American house hippo", what you usually remember from a commercial is the music. (whether it's good or not)
Of course "Like a good neighbour Statefarm is there" or McDonald's "I'm lovin' it" but those don't really count.
Just like I mentioned before, you want "Yop! me mama when da morning come"
The Marineland commercial will have forever engraved in your brain that "everyone loves Marineland". Even if you last saw it 15-20 years ago. You might have a home in Arctic Cove or you're gonna love the Skyscreamer. It's like a Canadian national anthem.
Rise and take off your hats. (If you're able)
There's a good chance that even to this day you'd call 877-Cash-Now!🎵 to reach JG Wentworth if you had a structured settlement or something.
T0 segue in to the Newfoundland stuff, you'll also definitely be calling 310-30-30🎵 for some Greco pizza and donairs.
Another for the fellow Newfoundlanders, you'd know that Newfoundland Power told you if "the power lines are hangin' down don't you hang around".
While near applicable labyrinthian locations in Newfoundland, you can definitely swing into Jungle Jim's. That fun jingle can remind you how much you want some taquitos and chimi cheesecake.
The Staples commercials that had "School's Out" by Alice Cooper are memorable in a good way, the Rogers Commercial that had that "lay it on the line" song, not so much. You heard it thousands of times during the Stanley Cup Playoffs and that was enough.
I really remember the Oshikuru jingle from Two and a Half men, is that just me?
