You can listen to the music of the present day or of the past, whichever you prefer. So you can listen to the music of the past presently? Those old songs are in your pocket at all times. (on your phone) Or in a stack in a crate, waiting to spin.

Although, being present is directly tied to your happiness. So don't look to the past, you're not going that way!

Being present is necessary in a lot of settings, definitely make sure to stay present while listening to music while driving. "One moment you're on the road looking at the scenery, then you're in the scenery looking at the road." No matter what kind of music you're listening to, don't let it distract you too greatly.
