Using AI For Disability?

Forget the helping robot, just grow arms?

AI is a pretty hot topic these days. It can be kind of a scary thought for a lot of creatives. It has the capacity to steal the rug right out from under a lot of artists. But I don't think anything can fully replace the human mind. From a glass half full perspective, just imagine how it can be used for people with chronic illness and/or disability! Let a robot bring you breakfast in bed. At 2pm?

Many people come alive at night, but the morning is actually where it's at. 😎

The sounds of AI stealing the claims of a real-life moosician isn't favourable. But maybe it'll give someone with a disability the ability to complete a tune? Even if it's not ideal, try to think of all perspectives. It holds great capacities. As great as it is to support local, I wouldn't really want to see a group of machines on a stage though? Would that even be considered local?

The same "Static Age" - Misfits that is introducing a lot of technologies is also the same age that is noticing the deficits of it. I call that a benefit in itself! Just like the advantages/disadvantages of self-publishing vs traditional publishing!

While likely interrupting a field that folks with disabilities can excel at. AI could be the very thing that makes it so accessible to them.
